Klenda, Mitchell, Austerman & Zuercher, LLC made its 6th appearance in the Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids’ Sake Law Firm Bowl on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Northrock Lanes. As one of the nation’s largest mentoring networks, BBBS matches volunteer adults with children, most whom come from single parent households and low-income families. BBBS believes in nurturing children to help them achieve their full potential. The Bowl-a-thon is one of the organization’s largest fundraisers.

Under the guidance of KMAZ Office Manager, Steve Cook, and Member Chasity Helm, KMAZ raised $6,345.00 for the cause, and was once again proudly awarded the traveling trophy. This year’s Law Firm Bowl cumulatively raised nearly$19,000 for BBBS. KMAZ had four teams comprised of employees, friends and family who actively solicited pledges for several weeks to assure it retained the trophy for the 3rd consecutive year. The teams, named KMAZ Ballerz, KMAZ LLC Strikers, Split Happens, and Stop Drop and Bowl, were led by team captains Pam Parker, Mike Baumberger, Jim Thompson, and Eric Lomas.
