Klenda runs 34.494 miles in 6 hour ultramarathon
Congratulations to KA member Greg Klenda who completed a 6 hour ultramarathon race on Saturday, November 15th. The 2nd annual KUS 6/12/24 Hour Run was held at Buffalo Park in west Wichita, sponsored by the Kansas Ultrarunners’ Society. The goal of the race was to see how many miles one could run in 6, 12, or 24 hours. Despite the cold temperature and brutal Kansas wind, Klenda completed 34.494 miles and placed 5th overall. Way to make us proud Klenda!
