On March 31, staff and attorneys of Klenda Austerman will participate in Walk MS in Wichita, Kansas to help raise awareness of, and continue fundraising efforts for, the fight against Multiple Sclerosis (MS).  Approximately 400,000 people in the United States suffer from MS.  Between today and the day of the Wichita Walk MS, over 200 people will be diagnosed with the disease, which causes damage to the central nervous system.  It typically affects those between the ages of 15 and 60 with symptoms of fatigue, peripheral numbness, walking and vision problems, pain and depression.

The National MS Society helps those affected by MS through its involvement in research, advocacy, professional education and by providing programs and services to those with MS and their families.  To get involved, you can register to participate for the Wichita Walk MS here, or by donating to the Mid-America Chapter of the MS Society here.
