This October managing member Jeffrey Peier will receive the Fort Hays State University Alumni Association’s highest honor: the Alumni Achievement Award. As noted in FHSU Magazine, this award was established in 1959 and recognizes those “who have made outstanding and unselfish contributions in service to their community, state or nation as citizens, in chosen career fields or through philanthropic work.”

Peier is an exemplary member of our community and well deserving of this esteemed award.  His philanthropic contributions are vast and continuing.  Through the years, he has served as founding director and vice chair of the Wichita Aero Club, been a FHSU Foundation Board of Trustees member since 2001, devoted more than 30 years of service to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and currently serves as an Exploration Place Board Member.  Together with an infinite dedication to his corporate aircraft finance practice and management of firm affairs, Peier most certainly exceeds the definition of “outstanding and unselfish”.  He is a genuine, consummate citizen and one we are most proud of!  Congratulations to Klenda member Jeffrey Peier.
