Lauren Wright, a former military brat who considers Wichita home, is a seasoned oil and gas litigation attorney. Lauren is tenacious, believing that all goals can be accomplished with hard work and dedication. She applies this belief in her personal and professional life, making her a dedicated advocate for her clients.
Lauren started her legal career as litigation counsel for the Conservation Division of the Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC). In this capacity, she represented Conservation Division Staff in all matters before the KCC. This role also included acting as a state regulator of the Kansas Oil and Gas industry. She worked directly with local, state, and federal agencies on issues relating to environmental concerns and compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations. The extensive experience Lauren Wright gained practicing before the Kansas Corporation Commission gives her a unique advantage when representing independent oil and gas companies. She can see both sides of a legal argument and apply that knowledge to help her clients gain legal advantage.
An experienced administrative law attorney, Lauren navigates her clients through Kansas Open Records requests and administrative concerns as they relate to the Kansas Administrative Procedures Act, Kansas Open Meetings Act, and the Kansas Judicial Review Act.
She is a strategic legal advisor with the ability to see the long- and short-term effects of each course of action. Lauren’s attention to detail, enthusiastic personality, and practical approach to the law gives her the ability to help her clients obtain the resolution they seek in the most efficient manner possible.
Lauren spends her time outside of the office balancing life as a working mother of two active children. She understands the importance of spending time with family and friends. She has an active social life and makes an effort to see her extended family on a weekly basis. When she does have a moment to herself you will often find her curled up with a glass of wine and a good book.
