Klenda Austerman Accepts ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

On Thursday, August 28, 2014, Klenda Austerman accepted managing partner Jeffrey Peier’s ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Attorneys Gary Austerman, Todd Shadid, Sam Foreman, Blake Cooper, Jade Martin, Eric Lomas, Jim Thompson, and Michael Baumberger and brave staff members Chris Richardson and Steve Cook participated. In turn, Klenda Austerman LLC challenged three other Wichita law firms: Bever Dye, LC, Hinkle Law Firm LLC, and Fleeson, Gooing, Coulson, Kitch, LLC. ALS, otherwise known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. The Ice Bucket Challenge went viral this summer, raising awareness for ALS and funds of $94.3 million between July 29 and August 27.
