Michael graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Business Administration from Kansas Wesleyan University in 1996. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Washburn University School of Law in 2001. Michael began practice in Kansas City in 2002, and moved to Wichita in 2005 where he continued in private practice. He has been with Klenda Austerman since 2009.
Throughout his career, Michael has represented individuals and corporations in a broad range of civil cases. His experience ranges from the defense of automobile accidents to the prosecution of employment discrimination claims. He has spent the last several years developing his skills in the areas of medical malpractice claims, civil rights claims, insurance coverage litigation, product design defects, employment and contract disputes and mechanic’s lien filings. He has also handled appeals to both the Kansas appellate courts and the 10th Circuit federal Court of Appeals in Denver, Colorado.
Outside the office Michael is an avid classic car and motorcycle enthusiast.
