Congratulations Linda Kizzire
Linda Kizzire, Sedgwick County Treasurer, was recently awarded the prestigious Victor E. Martinelli Outstanding County Treasurer Award, presented annually by the National Association of County Collectors, Treasurers and Finance Officers. The recipient is recognized for serving as a leader in their home state and as a professional of the highest caliber in the operation of their own County office, according to the organization.
“I have had the pleasure and honor of working with Linda her entire 27 years of public service, assisting her with real estate tax matters for our County,” says Chris McElgunn, Klenda Austerman member. “The citizens of Sedgwick County are lucky to be the beneficiaries of her professionalism, competency and tireless work. There is no doubt she deserves this recognition on the national level.”
Kizzire has held positions within the Kansas County Treasurers Association as well as receiving the highest level of education in the National Association of County Collectors, Treasurers and Finance Officers.
